How do I get a Library card?
You are eligible to check out Library materials if you are:
Active duty military (all branches) or a family member; retired military or a retired civilian employee or a family member; a civilian employee or contract employee assigned to JBER; a member of the Armed Forces or contractor IAQ AFI 34-270 at JBER. Bring your military ID into the Library and fill out an electronic registration form. Accounts are opened in the sponsor's name with all family member accounts linked to the sponsor's account.

New and used books can generally be found on common booksellers' websites (try Barnes & Noble or Amazon). Many textbooks can be rented from Chegg.com for a fraction of the cost of buying. And finally, Title Wave Books is an excellent local source for new and used books.
