Private Organizations

Private Organizations (PO) are self-sustaining special interest groups established exclusively outside the scope of any official capacity. PO's operate on JBER with the written consent of the 673d Commander or his designee to provide a positive contribution to the lives of base personnel. An example of a PO is a squadron booster club. Information concerning establishing and operating a PO, the annual oversight requirements, fundraising limitations and more can be found in DODI 1000.15 , AFI 34-223 , and the Private Organization Guide or contact the PO monitor at 552-4377. These document templates may help you in establishing and operating your PO:
