As today's teens are becoming more independent, it's important for them to have a place they can call their own. The Elmendorf Teen Center is just the place for them to get together with their peers to participate in positive programming based around their creativity and aspirations. The center is located in the Arctic Oasis Community Center at 9497 20th St., and is filled with opportunities for teens to participate in activities, clubs, skateboarding, field trips, and a newly renovated sound-proof music center. There is also computer and internet access, opportunities to earn funding for college, and plenty of space to just chill with friends. Call (907) 753-2371 for more information on the monthly events and tournaments.
